You should be able to locate your firefox 3.0 bookmarks in :
C:\Documents and Settings\user\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\xxxxxx.default
1.To find your bookmarks go to “My Computer” under the start menu.
2.Then click on “Local Disk (C:)
3.From here you need to go under “ Documents and Settings” then double click the profile that belongs to you from the list of profiles
4.On the user folder you need to find a Hidden folder Called “Application Data”
If you are unable to locate this folder you need to enable the option to see hidden files and folders. To do click on the top left side of the window under “Tools”. Then on “Folder options…”.
On the new window click on the “View” tab and under the Advanced setting scroll down to the section that say “Hidden Files and Folders” and put select Show hidden files and folders.
5.From here you will need to find a folder called “Mozilla”. Then inside the Mozilla folder ,one called Firefox.
Here you should have one called Profiles. Within you will have a folder that looks something like “xxxxx.default” Here you will find your bookmarks.html file
